RUSH FOR BERLIN by Paradox Interactive and Stormregion is an historic real time strategy game for the PC that is more than just another World War II game. Instead, this RTS provides some challenging scenarios, an AI that plays intelligently, and a good number of different units and structures. The game includes four different campaigns following the Allies and Axis powers. Players will control the US, the UK, Russia, Germany, and France as they battle through the 25 different missions that include Berlin, Stalingrad, and other historic WWII locations. The units and structures are all historically accurate, too, with players controlling Panzer tanks, Sherman tanks, supply trucks, and other units that saw action during the second world war. The game campaigns follow actual history until players get to the Germany missions. These take place in an alternate history in which Hitler died in 1944 and the war was carried on by his underlings. The maps of RUSH FOR BERLIN are huge and varied, giving players plenty of room to maneuver their forces. They are also almost fully destructive, and players will be able to destroy buildings, trees, and just about everything else. In addition to RTS gaming, RUSH FOR BERLIN also includes some puzzles, adding variety to the gaming. Fans of real time strategy games and historical games will feel right at home with RUSH FOR BERLIN. The historical slant gives the game an authentic feel while the large variety of units, structures, and missions make it a great RTS.
