EA Games BATTLEFIELD DELUXE EDITION offers PC gamers nonstop action as two teams battle for supremacy using land, air, and sea tactics. Unlike the previous game, BATTLEFIELD 2 moves the action to the near future in which a war has broken out between the US, China, and the Middle Eastern Collation. This new time period allows players to have access to recent weapons and equipment. The Deluxe Edition of the game includes the original and the Special Forces expansion. The concept behind BATTLEFIELD 2 is simple: up to 64 players divide into two teams. Each team has a limited number of spawns or lifes to divide up between its members. The goal is to either take control of all the control points on the map or defeat enough of the opposing team that they run out of spawns. BATTLEFIELD 2 includes redesigned features like the voice chat system. Instead of all 64 players communicating, the game allows each team to group its members into squads. Each team’s commander, who gets special abilities like spy drones, can only speak to squad leaders, and squads can only speak to fellow squad members. This very military-like ability brings much more realistic gameplay to the field and allows teams to incorporate strategy and implement coordinated attacks. BATTLEFIELD 2 creates such a realistic atmosphere that players will feel like they’re dashing across the battlefield instead of sitting in front of their computer.
